Welcome to My Family Connections.  Most of my genealogy is focused on the O'Sheal-O'Shields families of the western North Carolina and upper South Carolina areas.  I am finally adding my other lines, which include McKinna-McKinney, Barton, Gravley-Gravely, Franks and Barnes.  Please keep checking for updates.  The process is slow, but ongoing.

I have put countless hours into providing accurate information.  I attempt to verify all information; however, the time comes when we must rely on the memories of family members or other non-documented sources.  People make mistakes.  With that said, I don't claim to be perfect, so please do not expect me to be or criticize me if you find an error. 

If you find mistakes or know of family members that are not in my database, please contact me.  I love hearing from cousins and enjoy sharing family history.
